A journey that connects the story of an old mining settlement with open mountain landscapes and far-reaching views from the ridge of the Low Tatras.

We begin in Magurka, a historic mountain settlement with a mining past, tucked among the forests and slopes of the Low Tatras. The place has a character of its own, recalling a time when mountain life was shaped not only by nature, but also by the work and everyday lives of the people who lived here.

From the settlement, we gradually climb higher until the forest opens onto mountain meadows and a wide ridge. The landscape becomes more expansive, views across the surrounding ranges begin to unfold, and the trail leads us deeper into the alpine environment.
