Peaks to Roots offers guided mountain experiences in Slovakia, including day hikes, summit ascents, and multi-day traverses. Current programmes include Earth to Air (guided summit ascents in the Tatras), Mind to Wild (day hikes in wild, less-travelled terrain), and Soul to Whole (multi-day crossings focused on rhythm and simplicity).

To book a journey, select an upcoming date or propose your own via the booking form. A booking request requires your name and email address. This is not a confirmed reservation. All bookings are reviewed and confirmed personally by the guide.

Once confirmed, you will receive an email with trip details and payment instructions. The booking becomes binding once payment is received.

All prices are final and include the guide fee. Prices do not include personal equipment, transport to the starting point, food, accommodation (for multi-day trips), or other personal expenses unless stated otherwise.

Payment is made by bank transfer based on the details in the confirmation email. Full payment is required to secure your spot and must be received within 7 days of booking confirmation, unless agreed otherwise.

The following terms apply once a booking is confirmed and paid:

• More than 14 days before the trip: full refund
• 7–14 days before the trip: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before the trip: no refund

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a trip due to unsafe weather, insufficient group size, or other safety concerns. In such cases, participants are offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Participation in mountain activities involves inherent risks. By booking, you confirm that you are in adequate physical condition for the chosen programme, understand and accept the demands and risks involved, will follow the guide's instructions at all times, and hold appropriate personal insurance covering mountain activities.

The guide reserves the right to exclude a participant if their fitness or behaviour poses a risk to themselves or the group.

Peaks to Roots takes all reasonable measures to ensure participant safety. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses resulting from participants' own actions, failure to follow instructions, pre-existing health conditions, or force majeure events. Participants are strongly recommended to hold personal travel and accident insurance covering mountain activities.

If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue directly. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may submit a complaint to the Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (SOI, www.soi.sk) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
